Dr. Jerrold H. Axler
Dr. Jerrold H. Axler is a graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry. He established this practice in 1969, after serving in the U.S. Air Force as a Captain in the Dental Corps. He is on the staff at Phoenixville Hospital.
Dr. Axler has served as president of both the Montgomery-Bucks Dental Society and the Second District of the Pennsylvania Dental Association. He was also a Delegate for the American Dental Association.
Dr. Axler has three children and two grandchildren. He enjoys sailing.
Dr. Lon R. Kessler
Dr. Lon R. Kessler has been in practice since 1987. He graduated from Rutgers University and the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He completed one year of additional training at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital.
A published author and lecturer, he is also a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Montgomery-Bucks Dental Society.
Dr. Kessler is married and has three sons. He enjoys computers, golf, bicycling and skiing.

Dr. Raya Ben Dor
Dr Raya Ben Dor received a D.M.D. from Tel-Aviv University School of Dentistry in 1995 and a D.M.D from University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2006. Recipient of awards from both Universities for academic achievements: Dr. S. Gary Cohen Award in Oral Medicine in 2006, PASS-International Dentist Award in 2006 and First place in class Excellence Award in 1995. Dr. Ben Dor keeps perfecting her skills through additional studies and advanced cources in aesthetic dentistry, endodontics and dental implants.

In this area, we will introduce you to our staff members who will be helping us to make your visit as pleasant as possible.
Carol – Treatment Coordinator
Carol has been working the front desk at Axler Kessler answering phones, scheduling appointments and processing patients insurance claims since 1988. She is married to Cliff and has 3 children and 1 beautiful granddaughter. Spare time activities include gardening, biking travel and shelling the beaches of Captiva.
Cassie – Dental Assistant
Cassie was a graduate of the class of 2000 from Boyertown Area High school. She attended the Berks Career & Technology Center for Dental Occupations. She has been in the dental field since 2000 and joined us in 2004 as a dental assistant and a treatment coordinator. Cassie is happily married with twin boys and a Beagle named Sammy. When Cassie is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Donna – Hygienist
Donna is a 1977 graduate of Temple University School of Dental Hygiene. She enjoys working in a general practice where she can treat patients of all ages. Donna has been with us since 2004 with an emphasis on the non-surgical treatment of periodontal disease. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her grandchildren.
Margaret – Hygienist
Margaret graduated from Temple University School of Dental Hygiene. She has worked with us since 1984. Margaret has a daughter, Molly, and two grandchildren, Emily and Michael, whom she can’t get enough of. Her stories are endless! She enjoys sailing, reading, crafts and anything that involves her family.
Marsha – Hygienist
Marsha earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from Thomas Jefferson University College of the Allied Health in Philadelphia. She has worked in the dental field for over 30 years with experience in general dentistry, periodontics and orthodontics. Marsha lives in Phoenixville with her husband and three children.
Paula – Dental Assistant
Paula has been a dental assistant since 1996 and joined us in 2004 as a dental assistant. Paula is married with a daughter. She enjoys volunteering at her church and school activities that involve her daughter.
Regina– Hygienist
Regina is a 1996 graduate from Harcum College. She has been with Axler Kessler Dental associates since 1996. She practices in general dentistry and also works in a periodontal practice. Regina lives in Oaks with her husband and son.
Sandy – Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Sandy has been in the dental field since 1985. She has been assisting with Dr. Axler since 1999. Sandy is married with three children and five grandchildren. Sandy enjoys spending time at the shore with family, and the best part is spending quality time with her beautiful grandchildren.
Tammy – Office Manager
Tammy has been in the dental field since 1988. A graduate from Upper Merion High School, she started as a dental assistant and moved up to the front desk, then office manager. She joined our practice in 2008. Her love for dentistry kept her motivated enough to help educate patients how they can pursue not only a beautiful smile, but a healthy one, too. She is happily married with two boys and a Golden Retriever, Madison. She enjoys country music, reading and spending time with friends and family.
